Kiba's Father Chapter 1

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kiba had always had the company of his mother, Tsume, and his sister, Hana, but he has never known his dad. Tsume knew that Kiba needed a dad. She was unable to do some things for Kiba. She could never relate to him, and she couldn't give him advice. Sure, she could do that for Hana, but not for Kiba. She didn't understand him enough. As much as she tried, she couldn't.

Tsume did the same thing every year. She would write to her husband every year telling him about his children and what he was missing out on. She would never get a response, until now. This time, he did reply. Tsume had sent a picture of Hana and Kiba that was very recent. They were sitting under a tree at dusk. They had their backs to each-other and somehow, they had fallen asleep. It was a very cute picture. She would have to blackmail them with it later.

The letter that Tsume got back was definitely from her husband. It was the same handwriting. It read,

Dear Tsume,

I just got this letter when I'm writing this. We have beautiful children. Hana looks so much like you when we first met. I can hardly believe that she has become this beautiful. She has my eyes.

Kiba looks a lot like me when I was young. Has he really just made Chuunin? He looks a lot like you in many ways. The eyes, of course. He is an Inuzuka after all. I can't believe I had to leave all of this behind when I went on that mission.

If Akamaru is as big as you say he is, then he is defiantly taking after his dad. That dog was so huge. I bet Akamaru is as big as a horse now. I wouldn't be surprised if he is.

I have just completed the mission and the Hokage said that I could come home. It will take me a week, but it will be well worth the wait. I want to see my kids. I definitely want to see Akamaru, but the person I want to see the most is you. God knows how much I've missed you.

I love you, Tsume

Love, Unari Inuzuka.
